Alexandra ... going on....

At 10, going down the plane she rushed to the clubhouse of the airport of Quiberon to ask what she should do to learn to fly

From 10 to 15 she went there every year to make sure the rules hadn't changed always hoping she could start earlier. As she has been always passionate, she rid horses (broke her arm twice) and as she didn't have much money, I can't tell you how many tons of manures she cleaned or how manyhorses she nursed. All those time she was savin money.

3 month before beeing 15 she registered at the airclub of Quiberon where she was lucky tohave the "cream"of the instructors : Claude Guénette. Besides for those who don't know our peninsula, they say that from the air it looks like jewells on blue velvet. It's one of the mst beautiful place where to fly :

I seem to be very proud of my daughter, but why not, she can be really great, it was not always easy as she has a strong will, the atmosphere home has been often quite electric, almost on the exploding edge but you know for myself at 19 I resigned from teaching(before even staarting) and had to pay my scholarship back because I wanted to follow my passion : paint ing(see my site : www.franzainal.com ) If I had not understood her passion, who would ?

She worked hard : for exemple at 16 she even went to camp on the airport. She wanted to be there early morning to open the depots and push the planes out or in, clean them, do the fuel. I didn't pay anything for her, I had other priorities : She has a sister and my former husband, their father, didn't give us any money (don't misunderstand me, it's not a Disckens' story, we were very happy !!!) She paid everything with little jobs, babysitting, cleaniing hours, giving english, mathmatics and physic lessons. She worked at the airport agains some free flying hours. Her grandparents (my parents) had put for her on a saving account (like for the other grandchildren) 500F every birthday, and 500F, every newyearfor her futur driving licence. Well she has no driving licence, it became a flying one

She studied well. A cousin who is air traffic controller told her about his job and she's now studying that at the ENAC school of Toulouse (national school of civil aviation)

In Toulouse she went on flying at the Dassault-Bréguet Airclub and was selected for the tour de France of young pilots . She says that Pierre her Dassault's instructor is proud of her but I can tell you that Claude Guenette her former instructor in Quiberon is proud too (now he's teaching in Pontivy and Vannes). Between training and studying she's looking for sponsors and she doesn't have much time for that (On a forum about flying some said that pioting is a sport for rich bourgeois, that made her mad and she wrote a little answer). Her budget is becoming bigger because she has been selected for the french championship of air-rallies in team.

For the possible sponsors : she speaks french of course but also italian, german and english.
